tonight,
i went to some friends’ smallgroup and, at the end, requested prayer for my upcoming job change. i’ll be going from the t-fund to the vis. arts dept., from a job where i went through lots of training to a job where i’ve been barely trained at all, from a job where i had lots of coworkers to a job where i’ll have basically none.
and, as excited as i am, i’m also a bit nervous. the girl that held my position previously is going abroad this semester and the normal ceramics instructor will be going abroad as well… i’m sure i’ll be able to figure everything out with the help of the (hopefully competent/friendly) guest instructor.
anyway, back to what i was getting at. one thing i was a bit stressed about (hence the prayer) is that i hadn’t been able to contact my ‘boss’ about getting on the payroll. she hadn’t read or replied to my emails all break. but then, after group, i check my messages, and lo and behold she’s finally contacted me.
hallelujah. sometimes all you have to do is ask for a little help.
